Hailing from Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Marcio Santos holds a Brown belt, the rank of Contra-Mestre in capoeira.

He has been under Mestre Elias for about 30 years and a teacher for 10 years.

In 2012 Professor Marcio Santos opened RCJ Machado Lake Highlands where he currently teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira.

Professor Marcio Santos has studied with some of the best personages in the martial arts world, including the Machado Brothers, Helio Gracie, and Danny Inosanto.

Professor Santos knows how to make this class exciting and energetic! Using his own instruments, song and movements this class is sure to get the blood pumping and make the atmosphere electric!

Children: AGES 6–12

Our program is design for kids to be introduced​ to capoeira with lots of fun games, tumbling and some circle time where they will sing a simple capoeira song and be introduced to a simple music instrument to to learn a simple rhythm.

Teenager / Adults: AGES 13-99

This program is directed towards learning capoeira and its multilateral aspects such as:  martial-art, gymnastics, singing and playing the capoeira percussion music instruments.

The school accommodates 2300 sq. feet of mats (our mats are sanitized after every class), changing rooms, well-maintained bathrooms, an office and pro-shop space to fulfill any of our student’s requirements.
